Bipolar stepper motor is an open loop control element which transforms electric pulse signal into angular displacement. In the case of non overloading, the speed and stop position of the motor only depend on the frequency and quantity of the pulse signal. When the step driver receives a pulse signal, it drives the step motor to rotate a fixed angle according to the set direction, which is called "step angle". It rotates at a fixed angle and runs step by step. The angular displacement can be controlled by controlling the quantity of pulse signal, so as to achieve the purpose of accurate positioning; similarly, the speed and acceleration of the motor can be controlled by controlling the frequency of pulse signal, so as to achieve the purpose of speed regulation.
